I wish I was a kid again

... when school was for fun
... when grades didn't matter
... when boys had germs and when we forgot they did have 'cooties', it would be the funnest time playing ever
... when parents organised get togethers and parties without you asking for them
... when we didn't need money
... when the most important thing was not missing the TV show on ABC kids
... when there were no important decisions to make
... when you weren't judged by what you wore
... when you could fall asleep quickly after a long day
... when there was no such thing as bibliographies or assignments
... when there were 'friendship clubs' and 'letter books'
... when there were no arguments with parents
... when friends didn't hide their anger
... when friends just cried when they were unhappy
... when there were no secrets
... when there was no such thing as 'cyberbullying'
... when we talked on the phone and didn't text
... when there were no such thing as boyfriends and girlfriends and everyone was just friends
... when the biggest achievement would be getting a pen license
... when the hardest thing was remembering what 7 x 8 was
... when your parents didn't trust you with breakable things like plates and dishes
... when everything was simple
